MY CURRENT FAVOURITE MALE JACKETS & COATS
It feels like like so long since I’ve last wrote a blog post about fashion! Feels insanely good to be back and back in the swing of things since a lot of my University work is finished. I’ve decided this year that 2018 will be the year for me to unapologetically be myself in all senses. I’ve realised that sometimes with my fashion I’d change and manipulate sometimes due to the way I’d think certain people would look at me. I’m not saying I’m the most daring person with fashion but I like to sometimes change it up from street to formal to casual and I’d like to be able to feel comfortable in all 3 of those. This year I’ve also noticed that I am a person who has way too many jackets and coats. It’s actually quite a joke. But, with that said it’s helped me establish quite the collection of great jackets and coats from some amazing brands. So I thought for this post I’d show some of my current favourite male jackets and coats!
TOPMAN BOMBER JACKET
If you didn’t know by now I have a unhealthy obsession with bomber jackets. Bomber jackets are easily my favourite type of jackets because for me they balance out perfectly the formal attributes of fashion I like and also the street attributes. This bomber jacket from Topman is easily my favourite bomber jacket from the last year because of the insane pattern on it. The coat is also reversible so their’s a different more sophisticated pattern on the other side. It’s the best of both worlds and I found this in the sale for £20! I couldn’t find the specific jacket but I’ve found another one I like even cheaper than it for £16!! Have a look here!
BOOHOOMAN AVIATOR JACKET
By far one of my most used recently bought jackets is my BoohooMAN Faux Fur Lined Aviator Jacket. The jacket is so so warm and for an affordable high street brand the coat could pass off as something much more expensive. What I love about the coat as well is that I’m able to pair it with other pieces that can either make it seem more formal or make it seem more edgy for a streetwear look.
BURTON MENSWEAR CAMEL COAT
So this next and final coat is possibly my favourite coat of this season. At just £69 the coat is insanely good for how much you are paying for it. I’m not a person who wears longer coats a lot of the time because I’m only 5’8 with stubby legs so I think it cuts me off. However, this coat was a perfect length for me in Size Small and works so well as both a formal coat and also for something a bit more casual.
I’ll be updating this as I buy more coats and get more favourites because I’m always buying coats it’s a huge problem.
I recently wrote about my Winter skincare routine and what products I use to help me get through this cold season. Click here if you’d like a little read of that!
